The Mothers' Center has found a new home. The center has moved its base from Westbury to the Parkway Community Church in Hicksville. The center's upcoming open house will be held at the new location on Tuesday, Jan. 10. At this time, mothers will have the opportunity to gather and learn more about the center's offerings for mothers and their children. FULL STORY

The Westbury Community Improvement Corporation would like to thank those store participants such as Pathmark, ShopRite, C-Town and other supportive organizations that aided us in the donation food drive. We were thankful to be able to assist another year with the holiday community outreach drive to provide to those in need and those without a Thanksgiving meal. Many families would have been without a meal for Thanksgiving but because of organizations like this and people like you and your support we were able to provide food to a great number of families. The fall 2005 session of the Westbury Public Schools Adult Continuing Education program once again offered the community a wide variety of courses including recreational, personal enrichment, skill development and so much more.
