SYAC Travel Softball teams were in action this past week, as a great summer season began to wrap up. Syosset has four travel teams competing in the Glen Cove Mayor's Trophy, with a cumulative 10-10 record.

The Syosset Hurricanes finished 3-3 in the U10 B division, splitting two games in the past week. Winning one game big and losing another by a single run was the Syosset Storm, who went 4-2 in the U10 A division.

The Syosset Thunder picked up another win this past week to go 3-1 on the season in U12 with two games remaining to determine their entry to the playoffs. The Xtreme dropped one game this past week in U14 and are 0-4 on the season despite some very close games.
