Irma F. Lowe (nee James), of Syosset, died on July 19, 2008, at age 82. She was formerly of Oyster Bay. Ms. Lowe was born on Sept. 12, 1925 in Painter, VA.

Loving mother of the late Donald Lowe. Beloved sister of Carlton Kellam, Naomi Morris, Grace Booze, Frances Hicks, Lorraine James, Jennette James, Henry James, Martha Green, Laura James, Claudette Allen, Patricia James and the late Frederick James, Bruce James, Joan James, Joyce Brooks, and Betty James. Devoted step-daughter of the late Rebecca James. Cherished niece of Virginia James. Dear sister-in-law of J.K. Green and Gale James. Proud godmother of Stanley Brooks. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
