SYAC Travel Softball teams won three games and dropped three this past week, their second week of competition this summer. Syosset has four travel teams competing in the Glen Cove Mayor's Trophy, with a cumulative 6-5 record.

The Syosset Hurricanes split two games, capped by a 21-8 romp over the Oyster Bay Ladies in the U10 B Division. The Syosset Storm had a big 15-2 win over Glen Cove in their second game, to remain undefeated in the U10 A Division.

The Syosset Thunder, competing in U12, cruised to a 15-2 win over the Glen Cove White team and also remained undefeated. The Syosset Xtreme, in U14, dropped an 8-2 game to the Long Island Storm and then lost a 5-4 squeaker to the Manhasset Indians in extra innings.
