Larry Rush, Lawrence Feldman, Howard Avrutine, this message is for you from the residents of the Syosset Mobile Home Park. Even though we are in the Supreme Court litigating, you make your own rules and override who you want, when you want. We would like the residents of the Town of Oyster Bay to know who you really are.
We the residents of the Syosset Mobile Home Park never went on a rent strike; you Mr. Rush, Mr. Feldman, Mr. Avrutine returned our rents in November of 2007 stating future rents will not be accepted...so stop the rumor of a rent strike, that was your decision not ours.
Also from September 2007, you and the H.O.P.E. Association were in a negotiation regarding an affordable rent; you Larry Rush, Lawrence Feldman, Howard Avrutine breached on your word to the people. During this negotiation on September 20, 2007 you lied and said that there were notices coming around the day after our meeting, they continued until every person received one. We the residents are still waiting for your decision...again you deceived us with your lies.
In March 2008 a number of mobiles were torn down. Some say they were a fire hazard, very strange after all of the years the mobiles remained intact. Oh, yes, was that because we had a Nassau Fire Marshal living in this park? Again another lie, except who is doing the lying?
In March, as we are sure you recall, your handyman dumped 25 or more gallons of kerosene into the ground. Was this another attempt of harassment? How come it took nine days to clean this up? Would you have liked your children smelling and inhaling these fumes? DEC what was the outcome? The board of the H.O.P.E. Association made many phone calls to find out, yet we are still waiting for answers. More deceit, more lies, more questions unanswered.
Four months ago the vacant mobiles were taken down; why do you still have "caution" tape surrounding the areas? Do you think a young child can read the caution sign? The other day one of our little children went running after his bubbles, was he supposed to stop and read "CAUTION?" Why are you letting the weeds and grass grow over the steel pieces, the bricks, the wood, the broken glass and other dangerous material? Clean up the dangerous matter - it is an extremely hazardous situation for our children. The Town of Oyster Bay has been notified of this accident waiting to happen. We are not waiting for the Town of Oyster Bay to respond.
The torture does not only lie in Muttontown, it lies right here in the Syosset Mobile Home Park; we the residents are victimized each and every day by your actions of intimidation, harassment and cruelty, not only to the adults, but you are endangering and emotionally scarring our children. Shame on you.
