The playoffs are here for SYAC Girls Softball players, as the 2008 season comes to a climax this month.

SYAC's Junior Division was the first to begin playoffs, as several teams were victorious in the first round on June 9. Playoffs for the Senior and Pony Divisions were slated to get underway this week, as well. The SYAC Instruction Division wrapped up game play and will celebrate a great season on Trophy Night.

SYAC has 36 softball teams competing this spring in four age divisions, ranging from kindergarten through eighth grade. In addition, SYAC has four travel teams in league in the softball division of the NJBL. The Syosset Storm played a doubleheader June 8 at Mount Sinai to conclude their travel season.
