Steve Tacher, a resident of Jericho, along with his friend and fellow Jericho native Leslie Adler both lead a double-life. By day Tacher works as a financial advisor and Adler is an attorney and by night they run a popular website www.myjunkhead.com, which is a site committed to sharing information, old and new, about broadcast, health, fitness, sports, music and foods/restaurants.

The original idea came from constant questions from Tacher's friends - ranging from information about a restaurant to what music to download for a friend's iPod.

"I was sitting in an airport when I received some emails asking for some advice and I thought that I should put together a website for my friends and they can go there to get some information," said Tacher. After some brainstorming, and 10 pages of ideas on the flight, he came up with myjunkhead.com.

The name came from a nickname given to Tacher by his wife Amy. "My wife calls me junk head because of everything floating around in my head," he joked.

The website, which features artwork done by one of his daughters, offers blogs information and the opportunity to "share your junk."
