At its July 7 meeting, the Village of Roslyn Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing to hear cases by applicants seeking variances in village codes.
Old Northern Boulevard Realty Corp. is seeking a variance to change tenancy to retail space. The applicant is seeking a variance for four parking spaces at the establishment, located at 1435 Old Northern Blvd.
Roslyn Park Realty Corp., located at 1382 Old Northern Blvd. is presenting an application allowing for a new 3,749 sq. ft. restaurant use. The applicant requires a variance for 55 parking spaces.
The July 7 meeting will begin at 8:00 p.m. and take place at 1200 Old Northern Blvd., Roslyn.
In other news, the Town Board of The Town of North Hempstead will meet on July 8 to consider the rescission of an existing ordinance, one concerning intersection in Roslyn Heights.
The ordinance currently states that all traffic eastbound on Gateway must come to a full stop at its intersection with West Court. In addition, all traffic northbound on East Court shall come to a full stop at its intersection with North Court. Further, all traffic westbound on North Court must come to full stop at its intersection with East Court. Finally, all traffic eastbound on North Court shall come to a full stop at its intersection with East Court.
Violations of the ordinance, if enacted, shall be punishable by a fine not in excess of $30.00.
The hearing will begin at 7:30 p.m. and take place at Town Hall, 220 Plandome Road, Manhasset.
