Roslyn High School's athletic squads continued their winning ways last week, with both the boy's volleyball and girl's lacrosse team enjoying successful outcomes.
On May 14, the boy's volleyball team topped West Hempstead 3-0. Jeremy Fims had nine kills, while Jake Levy added six kills and Sam Ahm had four aces and 13 assists.
The win boosted the Bulldogs record to a solid 12-1 for the season.
Meanwhile, the girl's lacrosse team also had a comfortable win, defeating Valley Stream Central, 25-13 in a May 15 contest.
Dani Efros and Stephanie Klapper led the charge on offense, scoring, respectively, nine and five goals apiece.
In addition, Ricki Shenfeld and Samantha Labib had three goals for Roslyn. Chloe Street had three assists and Jamie Cooper and Stefanie Klapper had two assists each.
The Lady Bulldogs record is a sterling 11-2-1, giving them their first winning record in four seasons.
On May 14, the boy's baseball squad lost a tough one, 10-9, to Sewanhaka. However, the Bulldogs continue to have a successful season, holding down a 10-5 record.
