Grandmother of Kathleen Rush (Greg), Erin Gallo (Marcello), Patrick Purcell (Francesca), Keny Purcell, Maureen Boggio (Allan), Eileen and Michael Downing, Brendan, James, Elizabeth and John Flagler. Great-grandmother of Mack, Ben and Caroline Rush and Finn and Liam Gallo. Sister of James, Margaret and Daniel Sheridan and the late Nancy Buesker. Arrangements were made by Weigand Bros. Delaney, of Albertson, died on May 6, 2008. A WWII US Army veteran, he was a manager for over 33 years with LILCO. He was a member of VFW Albertson Post #5253. Husband of Gloria B. Father of Patricia (Pat) and Joseph (Joe) E. Jr. (Tricia). Grandfather of Chris, Matt, Sean and Ryan Kerszko and Olivia and Patrick Delaney. Great-grandfather of Emily and Liam Kerszko.
