On Sept. 8, the voters of Gold Coast Public Library District in Glen Head re-elected the three incumbents running: Amy Kempton, Kevin Glassman and myself. Thank you so very much. And wholehearted thanks to those who openly supported us and who helped get the vote out. Though the rain was coming down in buckets that day, it didn't deter voters.

The incumbents were originally elected with six other trustees when the district was created in December 2001. They may now continue the task of seeing that the doors of our first library will open in 2005. The board is truly a working board and will continue to be so until our facility is open with a library director and staff in place. Many thanks.
