The Nassau County Coaches' Association named North Shore High School women's track and field coach Neal Levy Coach of the Year. He was honored at a coaches' meeting this December.

The award is based on the women's track and field performance in the spring of 2003. The North Shore team won the Nassau County Class "C" championship and had a 14-0 season in conference and division play. The team had four All-State athletes, seven All-County, and 10 All-Conference athletes during the past season.
