The Roslyn High School girls tennis squad finished the regular season with a 12-2 record, tying Port Washington for first place in Division I action. Also during the regular season, Roslyn and Port Washington split a pair of 4-3 matches.

But in the finals of Division I tournament play, Roslyn defeated Port Washington 4-3 to win the Nassau girls team tennis championship. The Lady Bulldogs doubles teams defeated their Port Washington counterparts in all four doubles matches to seal the win.

Danielle Sheeler and Ali Goldstein topped Kristin Morton and Danielle Bourquet, 6-0, 6-4 in first doubles. In second doubles, Allie Antman and Erica Berck easily defeated Melissa Livingston and Jane Forman, 6-1, 6-0. In third doubles, Ashley Spivak and Rachel Karnofsky also had little trouble in defeating Leila Selin and Gabby Monsanot, 6-1, 6-2. To top off the sweep, Jessica Cohen and Jaclyn Schorr edged Jamie Bushell and Emily Gordon, 6-2, 6-4, in fourth doubles.
