Boys' Cross Country
Coach Kearney
At the conference championship on Saturday, October 25 the Roslyn boys' x-country team finished ninth overall in the county Class III Championship.
* Many of the boys ran their personal best with outstanding performance by sophomore Izeall Cisco who ran a personal best time of 17:59, who finished seventh overall and is an all conference runner! Izeall will compete in the state qualifiers meet Saturday, Nov. 1.
On varsity, other outstanding performances were:
* Bryan Sonnick, Marc Fernandez and Alex Cjik, who posted their best time
* Congratulations to senior Mike Kaplan who posted his best time in his first varsity start this year.
* At the j.v. Level Chris Dembia and Kevin Jalayer posted their best efforts of the season.
Girls' V-Soccer
Coach Demokopoulos
The girls' varsity soccer team finished the season strong with an impressive come from behind win against Mineola on Tuesday. Down 1-0 with nine minutes left the girls scored two goals in four minutes to win 2-1.
* Abby Golden scored both goals assisting both goals was Cara Farber and Arielle Ditkowich.
Congratulations girls on a fine effort all season. It was great.
Girls' Cross Country

The girls' cross-country team finished off their regular season finishing 3RD to Wantagh and Clarke but winning over Jericho.
At the conference championship Saturday, Oct. 25, several of the girls ran their personal best but the team fell short of the top 5 places finishing 7TH overall.
* Freshman Liza Becker finished 25TH overall with a personal best time of 23:06.
* Senior Julia Kessler had a personal best time ever of 25:20 and sophomore Amy Bader also had a season best of 28:06.
* Outstanding effort was shown by Melissa Wasserman this season who took 20 minutes off her time this season
Girls' JV-Soccer

The girls' jv soccer team finished their season this past Monday with a loss to Mineola 4-2. Despite the defeat, the girls had a tremendous season, especially after getting off to a slow start. Coach Hattem would like to compliment the team for all their hard work and effort throughout the season, and wishes them the best for the rest of their school season.

The boys' varsity football team had a tough loss to Great Neck North 20-0.
* Damian Estrada led the defense and had his best game of the year allowing only 6 points by the opposing team.
JV-Football

The JV football had a tough loss to Great Neck North.
* Maalik Oliver scored the only touch down for the Bulldogs.
Boys' V-Soccer
Coach Mejia
The boys' varsity soccer team finished their regular season play by defeating the second seed Jericho team 2-1 that had beaten them earlier this season.
* Jeff Swersky scored both goals for the Bulldogs. In their first post season playoff game the Bulldogs advanced over Wantagh 1-0 in the quarter finals game.
* Michael Sloyer scored the one goal for the Bulldogs.
Girls' V-Volleyball
Coach Timony
The girls' varsity volleyball team continues to dominate their opponents at times during a match. The setting and passing are beginning to show some consistency and the serves are starting to become offensive weapons.
* Malorie Simon and Dana Finkelstein continue to set up the offense.
* Tiarra Augustine and Julie la Spina are proving to be 2 of the best hitters in the county.
* Nicole Blaustein and Alison Sloyer have done a nice job as middle blockers
The last home game of the regular season will be this Tuesday, 10/21 at 4:30.

The boys' JV soccer team continue to work hard. The soccer team had a tough loss to Jericho 1-0. After an incredible recovery game against Wheatley in which they tied 5-5 the previous week. As this was the last game the coach felt they really played as a unit and worked together.
