As their regular season headed into its final week, the Roslyn High School boys varsity basketball team had no trouble keeping their winning ways alive. On Tuesday, Feb. 5, the Bulldogs easily defeated Valley Stream North, 83-50. Scoring in double figures were the same players who have led the Bulldogs all season long: Andrew Oliver (20 points), Raymond Johnson (16 points), Ronny Koenig (14 points), and Eric Bratt (13 points).

On Friday, March 8, the Bulldogs traveled to Seaford and came away with a 62-51 victory. Roslyn took a commanding 35-19 first half lead and was never challenged by Seaford the rest of the way. A balanced scoring attack saw all five starters end up in double figures. Eric Bratt led the scoring parade with 19, while Darren Lindo with 12 points. After the Friday game, Roslyn's Conference B-1 record stood at 8-2, assuring the Bulldogs of their best season since 1997.

The Bulldogs regular season ended on Wednesday, Feb. 13 with an away game at Glen Cove. After that, come the Conference B-1 playoffs.
