My deepest sympathy goes out to the Anton family in this difficult time.

I have worked with Karl throughout my years in public service. He was a great supporter of the village government in our efforts to preserve the historic character of Roslyn. Through The Roslyn News, he helped bring the Annual Antique Fair and the yearly Arts and Crafts Fair to the attention of the public. His publications have been recognized for their fair coverage of local government activities.

My regard for Karl Anton and the work that he did has my highest respect. I know the communities he served will feel his loss. His legacy, the Community Newspapers, truly represent Karl's devotion to let the people know about the events happening in their neighborhoods.

I regret his passing but have fond memories of his dedicated professionalism.
