George Jupiter, a resident of Flower Hill, Roslyn for 49 years, passed away on Feb. 9, 1999 at Yale-New Haven Hospital. A 39-year owner of the World Wide Pottery Bazaar, he was known with great affection by many residens of LI. He was loved and will be missed by his wife Elaine; daughter Claudia; and grandson Jonathan Merson. John R. Fanning, 43, of Roslyn Heights, died on Feb. 19, 1999. Son of John and Dorothy. Brother of Gary, Thomas and Barbara Porretto (Anthony). Also survived by aunts, uncles, nephews and friends. Arrangements were made by the Roslyn Heights Funeral Home. Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Church.
