Last Friday morning, 144 golfers, numerous public officials from villages, civic and senior groups, throughout the area, were the guests of North Hempstead Town Supervisor May Newburger, and the town board, for the magnificent "official" opening of its brand new Arnold Palmer operated golf course, Harbor Links. The mood of the beautiful day was complete with bagpipers from the Amityville American Legion Pipe Band, donned in Royal Stuart, the golfers plaid.
