Young lacrosse players across Long Island will have the opportunity to get tips from one of the best in the game when Lacrosse Unlimited (LU) and leading lacrosse performance brand STX host two free youth lacrosse clinics for boys led by Major League Lacrosse (MLL) player Kyle Harrison.

The first clinic will be hosted by LU's Babylon store on Tuesday, Aug. 26 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and the second hosted by LU of Miller Place on Wednesday August 28 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. The field locations have yet to be announced. _

Lacrosse Unlimited, the world's largest retailer of lacrosse equipment and apparel, has partnered with STX and Major League Lacrosse star Kyle Harrison to present these free clinics to any boy interested in improving his lacrosse skills. Harrison is a three-time All-American at Johns Hopkins University who led his team to the NCAA title in 2005 leaving the Blue Jays as the team's all-time leader in face-off winning percentage. He won the 2005 Tewaaraton Award, has played with the US men's National Team and the MLL's New Jersey pride. Harrison currently plays with the MLL's Los Angeles Riptide and in his lacrosse career has garnered All-America, all-metro, and all-state honors. He has his own signature line of lacrosse gear with Nike/STX (K18).

Harrison and the expert staff members from Lacrosse Unlimited and STX will be sharing their shooting, dodging, defensive and passing techniques as well as the importance of sportsmanship to help build an all around good lacrosse player. It will be a full contact clinic; therefore, full equipment is required; helmet, shoulder and arm pads, gloves, mouth guard and stick.

To register, visit any of Lacrosse Unlimited's seven Long Island locations or contact Lacrosse Unlimited headquarters at 631-582-2500, ext 16.
