AvalonBay Communities today announced that it will conduct Open House Information Forums on its proposed plan to save and preserve the Main Building at St. Paul's. The Open House Information Forums will be conducted over a two-day, two-week period on Sept. 10 and 16, in two sessions each day from 1-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.
At the Open House Information Forums, individual information stations will be set up on specific aspects of AvalonBay's St. Paul's plan, e.g., site plan and design (including height and density) for the proposed new construction; cost to save St. Paul's and the financial benefits to the Village; historic preservation requirements; traffic and school impact projections; parking requirements and configuration and more.
In one-one-one conversations with residents of the village, AvalonBay and its consultants will discuss in detail its proposed plan to restore and preserve the St. Paul's School Main Building.
"We're extremely pleased that we are at a point where we can provide Village residents with very detailed information on our plan to restore and preserve St. Paul's," said Matthew Whalen, vice president of development for AvalonBay Communities. "Residents will be able to learn first hand about all of the elements of the plan by visiting each information station, reviewing the detailed information provided, and engaging in a dialogue with the AvalonBay executives and consultants who will be available at each station.
"The Open House Information Forums are an unprecedented opportunity for village residents to have questions about St. Paul's answered directly by AvalonBay," said Whalen. "It's also the perfect opportunity to provide feedback directly to AvalonBay at the same time."
