Assemblyman Thomas McKevitt would like to inform his constituents that they may be eligible for increased prescription drug coverage from Medicare. The Medicare Part D low-income subsidy (LIS) can pay 75 percent or more of prescription drug costs for those who qualify. Many may even receive coverage for 95 percent of their prescription drug costs.

"Seniors should be taking advantage of the Medicare coverage to which they are entitled to combat the rising cost of prescription drugs and save money," McKevitt said.
