Open to all children of Little League age 10 through 12 (age as of 7/31/02.) This is a fun-filled event with games commencing on Friday, May 24 with play continuing on Saturday, May 25 and the championship games concluding on Sunday, May 26. There are no pre-set teams. Teams will be created based upon registration in each age group (10, 11, 12-year-olds.) Registration is limited to the first 48 players in each age group on a first come, first served basis. Coach pitching and no strikeouts unless it's swinging ensure these will be action-packed games. Each team will be guaranteed three games in a double elimination format. Applications had to be postmarked by May 18.
