Charles H. Wohr, of E. Farmingdale, died on July 4, 2001. He was a 55-year volunteer fireman of the E. Farmingdale Fire Co. Husband of Barbara A. Firematic service. Interment Pinelawn Memorial Park. Anna "Ann" Kathryn Boyd, a longtime resident of Arizona, died on Aug. 5, 2001. She was 85. Ann was the wife of Vernon E. Boyd and a sister of George Gugel. Ann and Vernon celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on July 3. She was a 30-years resident of Cave Creek, AZ, and was originally from Farmingdale. Ann is remembered as always being loving and caring to her husband, brother, relatives and friends. She was always considerate of others, a great artist and an expert in needlepoint. A private celebration of her life and memory was held on Aug. 9 for her relatives and friends in Cave Creek. Ann will be buried in the National Veteran's Cemetery in Phoenix.
